2. I took my photo Lying down on the ground in the forest using natural lighting and a fast shutter speed and small aperture to try defeat over-exposure from the sunlight.

Surrealism

1. The process to completing my image was simply planning, shooting and manipulating. During planning I decided first upon concepts, thoughts and emotions I wanted to portray in the composition and let the aesthetics follow through a drawn out plan. For the shoot I posed my subject in a position representing laughter or extreme pleasure. I placed her 3 1/4 front as I felt this perspective gave me the most to work with. I used one frontal light and a tripod.
2.The shoot was simple and went as planned. I didn't incorporate any new ideas during the shoot but i did think of new elements during the manipulation of the photograph.
3. This photograph is an embodiment of the universal energy associated with true freedom that is experienced through art, sex and, intoxication. I would like chaos and pleasure to be observed and freedom to be understood.
